국내에서 활동하는 인디뮤지션 제이플라가 유튜브에 커버 뮤직을 올리면서 세계적으로 알려지기 시작한 것은 2011년부터이다. 그녀의 재능을 알아본 해외 레이블에서 그녀와 계약했고 이후 꾸준히 싱글을 발표해서 한국에서보다 해외에서 더 많은 사람들이 그녀의 음악을 즐겨 듣고 있다. 국내에 처음으로 소개하는 그녀의 커버 앨범은 그녀의 개성 넘치는 보이스가 원곡과는 다른 새로운 분위기를 연출하고 있다.
